Feed The Future was created when we realized the unserved markets around the country of neighborhoods deemed unworthy of large corporations' time or energy. After creating a non-profit to support students' need for healthy eating, we soon realized that charities are beholden to the demands of their donors; most of which are disconnected from the community being served.
After personally experiencing the negative health effects and expensive delivery fees that come with living and working in a community void of healthy outlets, we have worked to grow Feed The Future and our non-profit partnership in order to build trust within the communities we serve and combat food deserts once and for all. |
